Harmony Day 2017

Harmony Day is about cultural respect for everyone who calls Australia home. We celebrate Harmony day because cultural diversity is what makes Australia great.

Sandra (Team Leader) & Lee (WF Coordinator) went along to represent Great Southern Personnel & Workforce at the Harmony Day festival held in Katanning on Saturday 18th March, an annual regional event for the Great Southern, celebrating diversity and respect for different cultures that make Australia a great place to live in. They set up a stall providing a plethora of information about the services & assistance that we can provide within our community. What an amazing day with an overwhelming interest from passers eager to find out more about what we & you can do!  GSP held two FREE!!! Competitions on the day, the entrants were asked to complete a two page multiple choice questionnaire about disability awareness for a $100 voucher to spend at TARGET and a $25.00 voucher to a randomly chosen entrant that was required to name two disabilities.
